Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Bwindi Forest
After breakfast at your hotel in Entebbe/Kampala or upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be welcomed by a representative of Bangizi Tours and embark on drive southwards to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Along the way, you will enjoy sights of the local people going on with their life and have a stopover at the Equator landmark in Kayabwe for pictures and water demonstration.
Have another stopover in Mbarara for lunch and proceed to the park with a drive through Kisoro – the Switzerland of Africa with terraced green hills, arrive in the park in evening, check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Forest
Today you will do the gorilla trekking safari which is the highlight of 3 Days Uganda gorilla trekking safari, have early breakfast at your lodge and head to the briefing point as early as 7 am for briefing about gorilla trekking, what to expect and how to behave while in the presence of mountain gorillas.
In groups of 8 people, you will be assigned a gorilla family to trek and with Uganda Wildlife rangers you will head to the starting point, enter into the forests of Bwindi looking for mountain gorillas.
The trek takes about 2-6 hours depending on the movement of mountain gorillas and where they spent their previous night, when you locate the gorillas, you are allowed to spend on hour in the presence of the gorillas watching them go on with their life in the forest, watch them pick fruits, baby gorillas play fighting among others. You are allowed to capture these moments, note that your flashlight is off.
Return to the park’s headquarters for your gorilla trekking certificate, head to either your lodge or to the Batwa village for a community experience. The Batwa Pygmy people are the early inhabitants of Bwindi Forest, currently living along the borders of the park and during the visit. You will be entertained by local dances and drama, visit the local heal, witness the demonstration of the high hunting skills of the Batwa. Return to the lodge for dinner and have overnight.

Day 3: Departure
On this last day of your 3 days Uganda gorilla trekking safari, you will have a leisurely breakfast and embark on a journey back to Kampala with lunch in Mbarara and a stopover at the Equator for picture sessions and a chance to stand in the Northern and Southern hemispheres.
You will be dropped off either at the hotel in Kampala or Entebbe or at Entebbe International Airport for your flight back home.
