On this tour, you will discover the treasure of Mgahing Gorilla National park located in south western part of the country, the park shares boarders with Rwanda and People’s Democratic Republic of Congo. It is Uganda’s smallest park protecting rich heritage-the rare Mountain gorillas, endangered Golden monkey and Batwa pygmies. You will do gorilla tracking, Golden monkey, hiking and Batwa trail.

Day 01: Travel to Mgahinga gorilla national park-about 9-10hrs of transit.
After break fast at your overnight accommodation, receive briefing from the guide and travel south west of Uganda from Kampala or Entebbe to Mgahinga -Kisoro. Eenjoy a beautiful drive through the rolling savanna plains via Lyatonde -Mbarara en-route stop in Kayabwe at the equator-00 and lunch at Agip or Igongo cultural centre, proceed to Kisoro arriving evening, MP:FB, overnight at Mount Gahinga lodge (luxury) or Mucha hotel/ Travelers Rest Hotel (mid-range) or Kisoro Tourist hotel/ Amajambere Iwacu Community camp (budget ).
Day 02: Ultimate gorilla experience.
Delightful breakfast at the lodge, proceed to the visitor reception centre at Ntebeko, for the start of tracking into the forest at 08:00 hours with the range guide. The activity lasts about 2-4hrs or 6hrs. Reasonable level of fitness is required, Have a close look at those endangered species. After wards have lunch either picnic or at the lodge. Day 03: Hiking in the park-volcano.
Breakfast early enough at the lodge and proceed for an adventurous hike of one of the 3virunga ranges located in the park, you can decide to hike the longest Muhavura peak at 4127m or Sabinyo at 3669m or the least/shortest Gahinga at 3474m.The hiking will lead you to the peak having classical views of the surrounding Rwanda, Congo D.R and other Virunga ranges. The activity lasts about 9hrs to the entire day therefore a picnic lunch is taken. MP:FB and overnight at the lodge.
Day 04: Transfer back to Kampala/Entebbe.
