A remarkable escape into Uganda’s wilderness, discover The Pearl of Africa’s best of nature when you go for a 3days safaris to Murchison Falls Park. Located in the North western part of the country at the northern end of the Albertine rift valley, the park is endowed with a rich blend of nature ranging from dotted palm savannah to the astonishing waterfalls and idyllic Nile that hosts wildlife in harmony including the African elephant, hippos and bird-life.

Safari Highlight:

Day 01: Depart Kampala/ Entebbe to Murchison Falls National Park

Day 02: A launch cruise, hike to the falls and a game drive

Day 03: Chimpanzee tracking and return.

Itinerary:

Day 01: Travel to Murchison falls from Kampala or Entebbe-approximately 6hrs driving.

Have breakfast at the overnight accommodation, with our guide embark on the journey north west of the country from Kampala/ Entebbe to Murchison falls through the pleasant Nakasongola-Luweero savanna plains. En-route, we branch off in Nakasongola to Zziwa Rhino sanctuary to track white rhinos. Have lunch here or in Masindi town. Proceed to the park check-in at the lodge, dinner and overnight at Paraa safari lodge/Chobe (luxury) or Baker’s lodge/Nile safari/Sambiya river lodge (midrange) or Red chili rest camp (basic). Day 02: Launch trip, Hike to the top of the falls and a Game drive

Start with breakfast at the lodge, later head to Paraa for a launch cruise along the Nile. The 2-3hours voyage from Paraa upstream to the bottom of the exciting falls presents you moments to spot wildlife like birds, Nile croc and hippos. Set-in for a hike to the top of the exploding falls after the cruise at Bakers point. Lunch at the lodge and in the afternoon/evening have an ultimate game drive in search of the great game, African elephant and buffalo herds among others. Day 03: Chimpanzee tracking and back to Kampala/Entebbe

After breakfast, transfer in the southern direction of the park ahead to Budongo forest reserve to track chimps in Kaniyo Pabidi section. With a ranger guide, you will spot the resident chimpanzees and birds. Proceed afterwards back to Kampala/Entebbe having lunch en-route.
