The sanctuary has provided a safe haven for Southern White Rhinoceros since its founding in 2005, and it now contains approximately 35 rhinos. There are plans in the works to move them to one of the bigger conservation zones.

Rhino Tracking is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to observe such magnificent animals in their native environment. You will also learn about the many conservation programmes that are now in place to ensure their survival.
It's also the only area in Uganda where visitors can go rhino tracking on foot, making it a once-in-a-lifetime chance to observe these magnificent beasts in their native environment.
Guests on the safari may also see bushbuck, warthogs, and bush pigs, which are all residents of the reserve. Visitors who are interested can also learn about the park's ecosystem and conservation initiatives. Visitors will get an appreciation for the sanctuary's varied plant species, such as acacia and savannah grasses.

You will have Lunch in Masindi town and after that proceed to Murchison Falls National Park arriving late afternoon.

Day 3: Murchison Falls National Park

The biggest national park in Uganda, comprising 3893 square kilometres in northwest Uganda. It is famous for its magnificent scenery and diverse animals, which provide great wildlife viewing.

After breakfast, you will head for a game drive on the northern sector of the park. The park is home to a diverse assortment of animal species, including the biggest populations of Uganda kobs and Nubian giraffes in the world. It also houses the bulk of the country's elephants. Among the other mammals are buffaloes, Jackson's hartebeest (Kongoni), Bohor reedbuck, Uganda of Sudan Oribi, warthog, patas monkey, and various bird species.

One of the park's other main draws is Murchison Falls, where the Nile River, the world's longest river, squeezes down a narrow valley to create a powerful and magnificent cascade.

You will have lunch then take wonderful boat cruise to the bottom part of the Murchison Falls where you will see how the Nile marvelously squeezes its way through a 7 meter wide gorge. You will get out of the boat and conduct a guided nature walk to the top of the falls where you will find your driver waiting to transfer you back to the Lodge.

This journey will take around five hours and will allow you to see the beautiful Ugandan countryside. You will also drive through the Ishasha region, which is noted for its tree-climbing lions. The reason why lions in this section of the country prefer climbing trees is yet unknown. These lions are well-known for their antics.

The Park is an UNESCO World Heritage Site and is home to approximately half of the world population of 600 Mountain Gorillas.

Once part of a much larger forest that included the Virunga Volcanoes in neighboring Rwanda, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is now an ecological island within a sea of human cultivation and therefore of immense conservation importance. Buhoma lies in the valley of the Munyaga River at 5100 feet and is flanked by steep, forested hills.  Excellent forest birding those interested in birds, not least the prospect of numerous rare and localized Albertine Rift endemics, makes this a true birding Mecca.

During the about five-hour journey, you will travel through the breathtaking Ugandan countryside.
